SOLD

This is a very clean Ball Bearing tone ring two piece flange pre World War Two Gibson Mastertone. I built the reproduction neck for the owner around 30 years ago.

All metal parts are original to the banjo. The armrest plating is worn into the brass

The neck rod is adjustable one way.  Adjustment is accessed at the heel of the neck. The truss rod cover in the peghead is decorative to match the original appearance. This is the rod we used in all our necks up to around 10 - 12 years ago. It works as it should. The neck relief is proper.

The finish and frets are in very good condition.  The banjo looks untouched from when this project was delivered to my customer 30 years ago.

There was no original neck included with this banjo when it was purchased by my customer for conversion to a 5 string.

The banjo comes with a new hard shell case.
