This is a
very clean 40 hole arch top tone ring one piece flange pre World War Two Gibson
Mastertone. I built the reproduction neck for the owner around 30 years ago.
All metal
parts are original to the banjo.
The neck rod
is adjustable one way. Adjustment is
accessed at the heel of the neck. The truss rod cover in the peghead is
decorative to match the original appearance. This is the rod we used in all our
necks up to around 10 - 12 years ago. It works as it should. The neck relief is
proper.
The finish
and frets are in very good condition. The banjo looks untouched from when this
project was delivered to my customer 30 years ago.
The original
neck is included with the sale.
The banjo
comes with a used hard shell case.
